Victoria Wolff joins our team
Her current project, From Literary Page to Musical Stage: Writers, Librettists, and Composers of Zarzuela and Ópera in Spain and Latin America(1875-1933), will contribute

to the Group's interests in Contemporary and Baroque Transatlanticism. Integral to her research is a discussion of how these musical-dramatic works traversed national boundaries and moved across the Atlantic. She has recently explored these themes in the conference paper, “The Lieutenant Nun on the Zarzuela Stage: Gender, Literature, and Music in La Monja Alférez (1875) by Carlos Coello and Miguel Marqués”. We both welcome, and look forward to working with, Victoria in Fall 2008.
